I'm seriously am one since at a very young age. That explains my thick spectacle lens.
Just finished The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini a week ago. And it was a marvelously captivating read - the best I read in a long while. It made me feel I was living in the story's protagonist's shoes. I was so caught up with the story that I stayed up till the wee hours just to read on, on and on until I finished the rest of the book. However, the movie, in my opinion, didn't do justice to the literature though. I thought I would cry at the end of the movie, but it turned out, I didn't. So, I came to this warped conclusion that the movie was not that excellently done to move me to tears.
Ok, sounds very warped. Nevermind.
I'm gonna read A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini and Journeys beyond the Comfort Zone by David W.F Wong from the Haggai Institute, concurrently.
Books are an immense source of knowledge, imagination and food for the soul.
