One minute update (in point form)


I like to summarize a great deal of stuff these days so I shall do a short post as well.

1) My official end of my internship is 2 days away

2) The presentation I was so looking forward to has been postponed to Friday. Okay, I’m not nuts to actually look forward to presenting per se. I’m the sort who wants to get things over and done fast so I can relax and nua all I want.

3) Jax came over to Shenzhen for a short visit. We ate, talk, shop and annoy each other A LOT. In Qiu Xin’s words, we are so gonna be ambassadors for Michelin (Me), GoodYear (Jax) and Firestone (that’s Qiu Xin). I’m lazy to explain. Think Michelin’s flabby mascot, and you can go figure it out.

4) I miss all my loved ones back home! You are the only reason I’m going back to boring Singapore. And the local food perhaps. The first thing I want to eat is BBQ Stingray with Sambal Chilli.

I think I'm gonna miss the cheap and awesome food over here. Shenzhen is a melting pot of different chinese cuisines and international ones too...

Si Chuan, ZheJiang, Hunan, Shanghai, Guangdong and Jiangxi Cuisines.

My favorite so far would be Hunan cuisine. The ma lah steamboat is good (recommended for those who take spice)

Shenzhen has a fair share of Japanese, Korean, Brazilian Roast, Western food as well...
