Foreseeable Problem Solved!

I mentioned in my previous post about the problem I see myself getting into when I'm on my way back home from Shenzhen. That is, I most likely would not be able to keep to the 15 kg weight limit since firstly, I'm taking budget (sigh, since my dad wants me to have company on the way back) and secondly, shopping. Haha, so I was looking for some help.

And I found it. Ok, I have this pretty good friend who is going for an internship at HSBC, Hongkong. And, to my horror, HSBC is flying him on SIA to Hongkong (sponsored return ticket with free accomodation!!!). Fine, I know, it's HSBC. Well anyway, his baggage limit is 25 kg! (Hmmmmm..)

Its so unfair! He gets paid, airfare and accomodation all provided. All first class treatment. Most likely, his remuneration will be more than 1 grand. Definitely. Meantime, I get like only free accomodation and a measly less than 500 paycheck.

Oh wells, It's really pointless for me to wallow further in self-pity. Haha. So.. decided to think on the bright side by..

using his benefits to my advantage; asking him to bring back some of my stuff for me in his baggage. And he so kindly agreed to help me out. Yay-ness! More shopping, less worrying.

I think I'm quite bad, cause he asked what if the baggage goes over the weight limit. And I said, 'No worries, SIA is pretty lax on such stuff. Most likely, they'll close one eye over the matter as long as your baggage do not outrageously exceed the 25kg limit."

sheesh, I'm so evil and sneakish.

I'm having the exam blues. I know, it's the last lap already. Last paper, and here I am, complaining. Ha, I lack the stamina sometimes, so thankfully, its a sprint of an exam not a marathon. Else, I'm gonna need supernatural strength & energy.

I do think open book exams are more of a curse than a blessing. Cause it gives you this wrong perception it's gonna be a piece of cake, a walk in the park. But it's so wrong. One thing, it drains outta you, the motivation to study and remember things I ought to put in more effort to remember. But no, I keep telling myself, its an open book anyway, why bother to remember so much, just refer rightttt. Wrong, there's seriously not much time to refer during the exam when I need to plan, think and then write.

At this juncture, I do hope time flies even faster, cause I can't wait to be done with the paper and get straight to the holidays.

Oh lastly, I think I really need to play more Mahjong with my granny. I just got off the phone with her and she kinda dont remember my chinese name! Goodness, Is it the start of dementia?!
Mahjong will be good to help stimulate brain activity. And prayers too.
